Our beer is inspired by the legendary Kiwi can-do mentality and fellow craft brewers who have dared to challenge the masses and show us all that beer is no longer “just beer”! Expect unique brews, expect ingenuity in flavour. In our permanent line up we have multiple shades of very hoppy IPAs, Saisons, Porters and Stouts.

We barrel aged our first beer in 2010. Since then we have built up what we believe is the largest barrel programme of any brewery in the Southern Hemisphere. Here we produce many different sour beers, some traditional, some not.

Naturally soured by live cultures our sour brews using 100% brettanomyces ferments are here to stay and show off all the funky tricks in the book... Brettanomyces is no longer the bad guy, not in our brewery at least.
