Wild Feijoa 2022 - Sour Pale Ale 6.3% - 500ml bottle
A pale sour beer, aged for up to 2 years in wine barrels and then another year on fresh, local and organic feijoas. It was this 10th anniversary vintage that won a gold medal, trophy for best in class, and Champion NZ Beer for 2023!
Oude Imperiale - Spontaneously Fermented Sour Ale 8.0% - 500ml bottle
A very special "Imperial Gueuze" inspired blend of selected barrels from our library. One third each of spontaneously fermented 8, 6, and 4 year old barrels create a perfect marriage of funk, fruit, acidity and sherry-like aged flavours.
This one on its own has a usual RRP of $33.99.
iStout - Imperial Stout 10% - 440ml can
The "I" might be in lower case, but beware - this is a capital beer. Brimming with luscious roasted coffee and chocolate malt flavours, iStout is balanced by a brisk bitterness and bold hoppy freshness. As with all our beers, this beer is a very modern interpretation of this classic style.
Brave Old World - Classic Scotch Ale 6.5% - 440ml
This is the fourth beer in this series, a Scotch Ale, inspired by the rich, malty brews that emerged from Scotland in the 1800's. This deep copper ale was brewed with a complex malt bill, including plenty of Crystal and Cara malts and fermented with a British ale yeast. This is a very malt-forward beer, with plenty of caramel sweetness, and notes of toffee and raisin.
