Just announced as The Brewers Guild of New Zealand Award's Champion Brewery for 2011, 8 Wired is inspired by the legendary Kiwi can-do mentality and fellow craft brewers who have dared to challenge the masses and show us all that beer is no longer “just beer”!

All of our brews are crafted by Søren Eriksen, a nomadic Danish brewer who has finally found permanent ground in Marlborough, New Zealand. Expect unique brews, expect ingenuity in flavour, expect new world interpretations of classic styles.

8 Wired contract brew at Renaissance Brewing in Blenheim -  contract brewed in the sense that we do not own our own equipment but rent theirs. The beer is brewed by Søren, who's dayjob is being a brewer for Renaissance.

You can find us on the taps of craft beer bars and on the shelves of discerning retailers throughout New Zealand, and we currently export to the United States, Australia and Denmark.
